My church declared a 7-day “prophetic giving” crusade where members were told to drop their ATM cards on the altar as a sign of faith. I hesitated, but the pressure was too much. I gave ₦30k, expecting “divine turnaround.” Months passed — nothing changed. Meanwhile, the pastor bought a new SUV. No accountability, just more offerings and guilt-tripping. Religion shouldn’t feel like emotional blackmail. I feel robbed in God’s name.
This is becoming too rampant among churches now adays, imagine being blackmailed, pastor driving a new suv while nothing changed in my life. I have been robbed . Pastor is a BAD MARKET TO THE RELIGION BODY.
