The agent promised me a self-contained apartment in Ikeja for ₦400k. I paid after inspecting a “sample flat” in good condition. When it was time to move in, I found a leaking roof, broken tiles, and no running water. The agent vanished, landlord claimed he didn’t authorize any deal. I had no contract, just receipts and chats. I ended up squatting for months. Lagos house hunt is a battlefield filled with fraud.
Y’all be careful out there , I still find it hard to believe I was scammed this way , very bad experience but I’ve learnt my lesson. Stay away from BAD MARKET AGENTS
