1. About BadMarket.ng

BadMarket.ng is a community accountability platform that allows registered users to share their personal experiences with individuals or businesses. We are a technology platform — not a legal authority, investigative body, or publisher of verified facts.

2. User Responsibility

You are solely and wholly responsible for all content you submit, including reports, comments, videos, voice notes, and evidence files. By submitting content, you confirm that:

• The information is based on your genuine personal experience.
• You have not fabricated, exaggerated, or misrepresented any facts.
• You understand that false accusations may expose you to civil or criminal liability.
• You grant BadMarket.ng a non-exclusive licence to display your submitted content on the platform.

3. Not Legal Advice or Legal Proceedings

Content published on BadMarket.ng is not legally binding and does not constitute a formal accusation, charge, or conviction. Reports represent personal opinions and experiences of individual users. BadMarket.ng does not verify the accuracy of any report and makes no warranties regarding the truthfulness of user-submitted content.

4. Platform Role

BadMarket.ng acts solely as a technology intermediary. We support legitimate accountability claims but we are not liable for the content posted by users. We reserve the right to remove content that violates our community guidelines, is flagged as abusive, or is subject to a valid legal order.

5. Defamation & False Reports

Publishing false, malicious, or defamatory content about an individual or business is strictly prohibited. Users found to have submitted knowingly false reports may have their accounts suspended and may be reported to relevant authorities. BadMarket.ng will cooperate with law enforcement where required by law.

6. Privacy

By registering, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Your registered email address and profile information are stored securely. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on BadMarket.ng:

• Sexual or explicit content of any kind.
• Content targeting minors.
• Hate speech, discrimination, or incitement to violence.
• Spam, misinformation, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
• Content posted with intent to harass, threaten, or extort.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BadMarket.ng, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or legal costs arising from your use of the platform or content you submit.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts.
